Isckon temple of Delhi is situated in raj dhirshain marg Sant Nagar near the East of Kailash locality. It is great temple of lord Krishna also known as Hare ram Hare Krishna temple. When you wish to visit the place take at least of 2 hours to visit it satisfactorily. It is one of the 40 Temples that have been built by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISCKON). A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada is the founder acharya of the hare krishna movement. Completed in 1998, this is a complex of temples. It is fine example of architecture, it sports 'Shikharas', rising to a height of 90-ft above ground level. The temple has air-conditioned hall that can hold as many as 1,500 people at once. Central player hall of the temple has got big idol of lord Krishna and his deities. The multimedia shows organized to make the devotees understand the Story of the Epics- Ramayana and Mahabharata. Interiors of the Isckon Temple are decorated by Aesthetic Russian Artists Representing Different Phases of Lives of Deities.
Isckon Temple remains open on all days of the week and you can visit there at any time but it will be better if you could attend the prayers held at every morning at 4:30am, 7:15 am, 7:45am and evening at 12:30pm, 7:00pm, and 7:45pm. The Prayer Hall Remains Closed from 12 pm to 4 pm. Entry is Free for All. For Social Ceremonies Temple Hall is given on Rent. Frequently there held number of religious programs like kirtan, aarti, pravachan with the museum show organized every evening. On festival of janamashtami i.e. birth of lord Krishna a big mass emerges to visit the temple. The festival falls in the month of August or September during which the religious activities and enthusiasm of the devotees in the temple are at their highest level. Thousands of devotees visit the temple on this auspicious day and the atmosphere of joyous celebration is truly exhilarating.

As the end approaches the special screening takes place in which the cartoon or the animated show is included. The screening shows us how the temple was built and the various efforts taken for the temple.
